Erosion Control Products
Coir Geotextiles
AGRO BROTHERS COIR COMPANY manufactures a specialized range of natural fibre erosion control and geotextile products designed to stabilise soil, control surface erosion, and support vegetation establishment in environmentally sensitive areas.
Produced from premium-quality coir and jute fibres, these products offer an optimal balance of strength, biodegradability, water permeability, and durability, making them suitable for infrastructure, riverbank protection, slope stabilization, landscaping, and ecological restoration projects.
All products are manufactured under controlled processes to ensure uniformity, functional performance, and compliance with international application requirements.
100% natural, biodegradable coir fabrics designed for effective soil erosion control and soil conditioning. Perfect for landscaping, geotechnical, and aquatic applications.
Key Benefits:
- Long-lasting (4–5 years) with high tensile strength
- Controls erosion on steep slopes, streambanks, and high-velocity channels
- Absorbs water, acts as mulch, and supports vegetation growth
- Enhances soil fertility after biodegradation
- Safe for wildlife and environmentally friendly

Coir Wrap
Coir Wrap is a double-layered, soil-stabilising biodegradable fabric. It typically consists of a heavy-duty outer layer made of high-strength woven coir matting and a finer, lightweight inner layer (often jute or a non-woven coir felt). The two layers are tied or stitched together at regular intervals to form a single, robust blanket that can hold fine soil particles while providing massive structural support.
Applications
Used for slopes and streambank stabilization, landscaping and bioengineering.
- Revegetation of construction damaged slopes, trapping sediment and to encourage deposition
- Reduction of pollution from storm-water run-off.
Available Qualities
In the market, Coir Wrap is usually categorized by its weight and the type of inner lining:
- 1000/1200: The most common heavy-duty variants, named after their GSM (grams per square meter).
Standard Sizes & Packaging
- Standard Widths: Typically available in 1 meter, 2 meter, and 3 meter widths to accommodate different lift heights in engineering.
- Roll Lengths: Usually supplied in 15m, 20m, or 25m rolls.

Coir Logs
Agro Coir Logs are 100% biodegradable erosion control solutions made from high-quality knotted coir netting, packed with durable coconut fiber. Lightweight yet robust, they are easy to handle and install, making them ideal for both temporary and long-term bio-engineering applications.
Available in square and cylindrical shapes, with various density options to suit specific project requirements.
Applications
- Check dams and flow diversion
- Shoreline, stream bank, and channel stabilization
- Sediment control in drains and waterways
- Natural river and stream barriers
- Vegetation support where no soil medium exists (steel piles, gabions)
Benefits
- Stable growing medium for aquatic and marginal plants
- Encourages fast root establishment
- Supports natural bank restoration
- Eco-friendly, wildlife-safe, and fully biodegradable

Coir Logs
Variants
Coir Logs with planting holes
100% biodegradable, Coir Logs provide a stable growing medium for marginal plants, encouraging dense vegetation and strong root systems. Designed with pre-drilled planting holes at optimized intervals, they are ideal for restoration projects where no natural soil exists—such as steel piles and gabions.
Key Features
- Pre-drilled holes: 8 or 16 with paper tube inserts
- Stabilizes banks and shorelines
- Protects wildlife and aquatic habitats
- Supports wetland restoration
- Gradually biodegrades, leaving a strong vegetative framework
Sizes Available
- Diameters: 9”, 12”, 16” (20, 30, 40 cm)
- Lengths: 10 ft & 20 ft

Bio Block with matting cover
The Bio Block with matting cover is a densely packed coir fiber block integrated with woven coir fabric, designed to create uniform embankment layers and simplify fabric-wrapped soil construction.
- It retains moisture and gradually releases it to the soil, while allowing excellent drainage and air porosity to support healthy root growth and inhibit pathogens.
- The thick coir core provides extended protection to soil wraps, and the male–female interlocking ends form strong, continuous sections with high structural integrity.
- Its rectangular design offers greater bottom contact and improved soil support. Easy to install, with optional planting holes as required.
Standard sizes:
Female-end netting length: 7” for stronger block connection.

Coir Wattles
Coir Wattles resemble coir logs but are less densely packed, allowing water to flow through while trapping sediment. They effectively reduce runoff, control erosion, and improve water quality.
Ideal for:
- Construction site perimeter control
- Stormwater runoff management
- Protection around drains and curb inlets
- Temporary check dams and sediment barriers

Coir Wattles
Jute Wattles
Jute Wattles are 100% biodegradable erosion control rolls made with double-cleaned coir fiber, lightly packed in durable burlap jute fabric.
Designed to capture sediment and disperse water flow, they prevent runoff concentration and reduce erosion. Ideal for environmentally sensitive areas, they help protect freshwater systems and maintain ecological balance.

Coir Netting and Jute tubes
Coir Netting Tubes are made from 100% high-quality, non-chemically treated coir yarns. With naturally high lignin content, coir fibers resist rapid decomposition.
Jute Tubes are practical, durable, and versatile, widely used across commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications. Available in different diameters and lengths to suit industry specifications.
